Blob Opera
Created by artist David Li in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture, Blob Opera is a wonderful 3D free online music game featuring 4 adorable blobs that sing beautiful operatic harmonies. Players do not need any musical training or knowledge at all to play this game and create wonderful performances. Step into the game and simply drag blobs up/down and forward/backwards to change their pitches and vowel sounds to perform the greatest music.
Meet Four Cute Blobs in Blob Opera
At the heart of Blob Opera are four colorful blobs, each with its playful appearance and a different type of opera voice:
- Bottom Blob: Bass, The deep male voice that produces the lowest notes
- Second Blob: Tenor, The high male voice that sings the middle-to-low melodies
- Third Blob: Mezzo-Soprano, The middle female voice that balances between high and low notes
- Top Blob: Soprano, The highest female voice that often carries the brightest melodies

Drag to change the pitch and vowel sounds
Click and drag any blob to control its voice:
Move up or down to raise or lower the pitch.
Move forward or backwards to change the vowel sound (such as ah, oh, or oo).
When one sings, blobs standing prior will instantly adjust their voices to create harmonious accompaniment.
Game controls:
Use the left mouse button to play.
Experiment with different harmonies and record the performance
Mix high and low notes, adjust multiple blobs, and try different vocal combinations to compose your own operatic melodies. When you are ready, press the Record button to start recording the performance, replay it, and even share it with friends.
